This form allows you to set up which of the Input/Output pins on your PIC are inputs, and which outputs (and which are not connected). It also allows you to create shortcut names for these pins, so that you can refer to them as a simple name (like "button") rather than the full File Register, Bit (e.g. porta, 3).
The Pinout button will show a picture of the PIC's pins, helping you decide how to connect the inputs and outputs.
